Instrument Makers Workshop - old Y.M.C.A.hall, High Street Echuca.

Come along and see a variety of craftspeople making all types of musical instruments ranging from harps to banjos to mandolins and violins. 10.00 am - 4.30 pm Sat and 10.00am to 3.30pm Sunday. A gold coin donation on entrance.

Scottish Country Dancing Workshop for Beginners of all Ages - Workshop presented by Judith Martin Saturday 17th March 2.00 to 3.30 pm at the Uniting Church Hall, Hare Street Echuca.

Alton Art Group exhibition - at the old YMCA hall. Showing their work with Celtic themes.

Echuca and Moama are twin towns on the Murray River, two and half hours drive from Melbourne. At one time Echuca was the busiest port outside of Melbourne with the primary produce being transported by river boats to Echuca for overland transport to Melbourne. The twin towns now attract many visitors to view the old Port precinct and to ride one of the many side-wheel paddle steamers operating on the river, or to take in some of the other entertaining attractions.
