Presented by: Brenda Grimshaw - Celtic Artist featuring her interpretation of the
illustrations of the Book of Kells. The Book of Kells is an illuminated manuscript in Latin,containing the four Gospels of the New Testament together with various prefatory
texts and tables. It was transcribed by Celtic monks around 800. The Book of Kells is kept on display in the Trinity College Library Dublin
A second edition copy of the Book of Kells will be on display courtesy of Mr David Piggott.
Presented by: Kevin Williams - Koori Artist of world acclaim with some of his
paintings exhibited in Parliament House, Canberra

Topic: Celtic Music - Its Uniqueness and Diversity
John has recently been to Ireland and Spain researching the true nature
of Celtic songs of these regions which will provide participants with an
interesting and entertaining understanding of the topic.
This is a specific type style of unaccompanied singing in the Irish language of
which Maria will provide a basic understanding of this form of singing as well
as learning songs in both Irish and English languages.
